DEPARTMENT: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICE
REPORTS TO: HEAD CORPORATE STRATEGY AND INNOVATION
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manage the formulation, management, and execution of UNOC’s Corporate Strategy, Business and Subsidiary Strategies.
- Support the Head of Corporate Strategy and Innovation in coordinating the UNOC Strategic plan to guide the organization’s long term strategic focus.
- Manage Corporate and Subsidiary Business Scorecards in line with the Group corporate objectives.
- Undertake Industry and scenario analysis for management to consider potential strategic options.
- Conduct in-depth research on competitor activities and market opportunities to identify growth areas and threats to the company.
- Manage, facilitate, and follow-through strategy development and review workshops.
- Lead and manage key performance metrics for UNOC and its subsidiary companies.
- Oversee the cascading and alignment of the company’s corporate strategy across all business units and subsidiaries.
- Manage the preparation of departmental periodic progress reports against the agreed departmental or functional strategic plans and initiatives.
- Co-ordinate periodic reviews and refining strategy to ensure that all strategic initiatives are delivered according to the agreed plans.
- Carry out research on industry, external and internal operating environment issues and emerging trends affecting the UNOC’s strategic direction.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor(s).
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering and any other related field from a recognized University.
- A Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or any other business-related discipline.
- Professional Certification in Strategy Management such as Balance Scorecard (BSC), Strategy Management Professional (SMP), Strategic Management Performance System (SMPS), Strategic Planning Professional (SPP) etc, is an added advantage.
- Certification in Project Management or Specialised training in Project Planning & Management or M&E is an added advantage.
- Technical knowledge and experience using statistical modelling and data analytics tools.
- A minimum of 8 years of working experience with at least 4 years’ experience in Strategy Development and Management in a reputable organisation is an essential requirement.
- Demonstrable experience in the implementation of robust strategy development frameworks in dynamic corporate organisations.
