Job Description

Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is a semi-autonomous body responsible for promoting, developing
and regulating the capital markets industry in Uganda, with the overall objectives of investor protection
and market efficiency. It was established in 1996 following the enactment of the Capital Markets
Authority Act (Cap 64) as amended.


CMA is seeking a graduate to join its graduate trainee program in our Information Technology Unit.
The candidates selected for the graduate trainee program will gain valuable experience in the areas of
enterprise Information Technology (IT) Management.


Eligibility Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any
    related field with first class or upper second awarded in a period not exceeding two (2) years by the
    date of application.
  2. Additional Certification in the field of IT shall be an added advantage.
  3. No work experience is required, however the desired candidate(s) should demonstrate strong
    intellectual skills with the ability to comprehend technical matters pertaining to the area of training and
    demonstrate a high degree of social skills, self-awareness and self-motivation.
