Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Reporting to: Laboratory Manager

Job Summary: To support the delivery of efficient and high-quality diagnostic laboratory services at Mildmay Hospital Uganda, contributing to effective patient care, research, and strategic program implementation in line with institutional standards.

📋 Expected Key Result Areas:

• ⚡ Perform accurate and timely laboratory tests to support clinical decision-making and patient management
• 🔬 Participate in laboratory-based research to inform program management, contribute to scientific knowledge, and support affiliated research initiatives
• 🤝 Team Collaboration and Support
• 📊 Contribute to departmental planning and the execution of planned targets

🎓 Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques
• Valid Registration and Licence with Allied Health Professional Council

💼 Job Related Experience and Knowledge:

• 1-year experience in a busy Hospital/Lab
