Job DescriptionCoca-Cola Beverages Africa /CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit a Talent Acceleration and Projects Specialist Asa Talent Acceleration and Projects Specialist, you will report directly to the Country Lead: Talent, Performance and Development. Key Purpose StatementThe overall purpose of this role is to design, implement, and manage talent development and acceleration strategies that build organizational capability, enhance employee engagement, and support business growth. The role also leads key HR projects that drive culture and continuous improvement and innovation in people development.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement talent development programs to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees across the Business.Lead the end-to-end coordination of talent reviews, succession planning sessions, and career conversations, ensuring quality data and actionable outcomes.Implement talent acceleration initiatives through leadership development, mentoring, coaching, and other interventions for succession planning.Monitor KPIs for talent acceleration (e.g., key people in key roles, leadership bench strength, Internal promotions, retention etc.).Support strategic HR projects and change management initiatives across the organization.Manage and track the delivery of talent development projects, ensuring initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and deliver measurable impact.Stay abreast of emerging talent management trends and recommend innovative approaches to enhance the organization’s talent pipeline.Provide governance and oversight for the performance management processPerform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Skills, Experience & EducationQualificationsMinimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.Added advantage: Psychometric accreditation.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years in Human Resources, with at least 2 years focused on talent management.Proven experience in designing and delivering talent development programs and managing HR projects.Added advantage: Exposure to cultural transformation or organizational change projects.CompetenciesStrong expertise in talent development, competency modeling, and succession planning.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Proficiency in data analysis and HR metrics.Project management and change management capabilities.Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and people development.Stakeholder Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing.
