Job Description

Job Title: Sales Associate
Duration: 6 months
Location: Hybrid – In-office for meetings + Field-based (location-based coverage)
Start Date: 1st August

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for securing and managing client accounts, overseeing end-to-end
operations for client engagements, and supporting the company’s growth through effective sales
outreach and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
A. Client Acquisition & Management

  • Proactively identify and secure new clients for the company’s fireworks display services.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat
    business.
    B. Client Operations Management
  • Coordinate the end-to-end execution of fireworks display projects, from booking to post
    event follow-up.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient service
    delivery.
    C. Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Submit an activity report after conclusion of each area field visit outlining sales.
    performance, client engagements, and operational activities.
    Logistical Support
  • The company will provide logistical resources and support to facilitate sales outreach
    initiatives (e.g., transportation, marketing materials, communication allowances).
    Remuneration
  • Commission-Based: 15% commission on successful sales
  • Facilitation: Transport facilitation based on assigned location/area coverage
    Person Specifications
  • Minimum of a Diploma or Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE/S.6)
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or account management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver under minimal supervision
  • Organized, reliable, and target-driven with a passion for client satisfaction
  • Familiarity with the events or entertainment industry (added advantage)
  • Willingness to travel within assigned locations
