Job Description

VAAL Real Estate is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing operations in Uganda. This strategic role involves overseeing all aspects of marketing, from campaign development to brand positioning, with a strong focus on generating qualified leads and enhancing brand visibility in the luxury real estate space.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire marketing function, including digital marketing, advertising, communications, and creative teams.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives—both short-term and long-term.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Development, Finance, and other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and campaign execution.
  • Oversee and manage marketing budgets in coordination with the CEO.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and optimize for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to refine marketing approaches.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including clients, media, and industry influencers.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, particularly their impact on lead generation and client retention.
  • Drive process improvement and implement marketing tools and systems that enhance team productivity.
  • Spearhead the development and execution of innovative and integrated marketing campaigns—especially in digital and social channels.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and assess competitive landscape.
  • Deliver a minimum of 600 qualified sales leads per month.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5–7+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within high-profile agencies or reputable brands in sectors like real estate, luxury goods, FMCG, telecom, or lifestyle.
  • Demonstrated success in managing marketing campaigns in fast-paced, results-oriented environments.
  • Prior experience marketing premium or luxury products/services is a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
