About This Job:  

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.  

On behalf of our client in the technology industry we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Senior Project Manager to work in Kampala. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

1. Strategic Leadership

• • Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and business outcomes. 
  • Prioritize initiatives based on ROI, risk assessment, and strategic relevance. 
  • Drive change management and transformation activities throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. 

2. Advanced Stakeholder Management

• • Engage and manage relationships with executive sponsors, steering committees, contractors, and external partners. 
  • Balance competing stakeholder priorities to ensure alignment and effective decision-making. 
  • Facilitate negotiation, issue resolution, and communication across senior-level stakeholders. 

3. Program & Portfolio Management

• • Oversee multiple related projects under a unified program structure. 
  • Manage portfolio governance, investment prioritization, and risk mitigation strategies. 
  • Coordinate resource allocation and cross-functional collaboration across various disciplines. 

Required Skills and Qualifications 

• • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage). 
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project or program management, preferably with IT infrastructure or data center projects. 
  • Professional certification required: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification. 
  • Proven experience managing large, cross-functional projects involving civil, electrical, IT systems, and cooling infrastructure. 
  • Strong understanding of project governance, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
