Job Description

Leceny Equipment ltd a sole authorized distributor of Shacman trucks and Sunward heavy equipment and machinery in East Africa is seeking for experienced and results-driven Heavy Truck Sales Representative to join our team in Uganda.

 Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales:

– Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for dump trucks, tractor heads, trailers among other machinery and equipment.

– Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and markets

– Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers

2. Product Knowledge:

– Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and applications.

3. Customer Service:

– Provide exceptional customer service and support

4. Administrative Tasks

– Maintain accurate sales records and reports

– Manage sales pipeline and follow up with leads

5.Collaboration:

– Work with internal teams i.e. after sale services, spare parts & finance to ensure seamless customer experience

– Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.

 Requirements:

  • Pro sales experience in the automotive or heavy equipment industry is an added advantage
  • Relevant Education qualification in market business mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to learn new products quickly
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with heavy truck industry, market trends, and customer needs
