EMERGENCY PHYSICIAN/ LEAD

TWO POSITIONS

LOCATION – TILENGA

JOB PURPOSE

Working within a multidisciplinary team set in a remote environment with the aim of improving the health status of site personnel through the provision of comprehensive and culturally valid primary health care services. The Emergency

Physician is the clinical lead and will undertake a managerial position as well as working in a clinical role.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Registered as a Medical Practitioner with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioner Council (UMoH).
• Valid license to practice and hold a certificate of good standing from the UMoH.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support.
• Major Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMs).
• First Aid Training Instructor.
• Drug and Alcohol Screening.
• Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Experienced in emergency medicine management
• Proven ability to provide high standard of clinical care.
  Competency in psychological counselling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good working remote site knowledge of Oil and Gas industry is required.
• HSE experience including management of, or good working knowledge of similar management systems.
