Who you are

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager (User Research Focus) to bridge the gap between our customers and product development. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about understanding user needs, conducting research, and translating insights into actionable product improvements. Over time, this position will evolve into a full-fledged Product Manager role.

As an APM with a research focus, you will be embedded in the user experience along with the designated Product manager, conducting interviews, analyzing support interactions, and ensuring our product decisions are deeply informed by real customer needs. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Customer Support teams to shape the future of our financial app.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in user research, product management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to translate research insights into actionable product recommendations.
  • Experience with research methods such as surveys, usability testing, and interviews.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
  • Background in financial services, emerging markets, or mobile apps is a plus.

What you will do

  • Conduct user interviews, shadow customer support calls, and gather qualitative insights.
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations for the product team.
  • Collaborate with designers and PMs to validate user pain points and feature needs.
  • Assist in defining product requirements and ensuring they align with customer needs.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Help facilitate and streamline user testing and feedback sessions for new  and existing features.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
  • Support go-to-market strategies by ensuring messaging aligns with user needs.
