Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales & Market Development

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities aligned to IFS platform solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients in the FinTech and financial services ecosystem.
  • Conduct market mapping of SACCOs, MFIs, banks, businesses and digital lenders.
  • Lead product presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements with prospects.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level executives and technical teams at client institutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on digital transformation, compliance, and onboarding strategies.
  • Support pre-sales documentation including proposals, pricing, and contracts.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate client data, lead status, and pipeline metrics in CRM tools.
  • Generate weekly reports on leads, conversions, demos, and feedback.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Compliance, and Customer Success teams to align client needs with IFS offerings.
  • Provide insights to product teams for platform enhancement based on market and client feedback.
  • Support marketing campaigns and GTM initiatives including “Go Digital in 10 Days.”

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, IT, Marketing or related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in financial technology, digital banking.
  3. Proven ability to close enterprise-level deals in regulated sectors.
  4. Strong understanding of digital onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, and financial systems is a plus.
  5. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  6. Comfortable with CRM systems, LinkedIn prospecting, and proposal development.
