Job Description

Uganda Clays is hiring a Head of Sales Marketing and Distribution responsible for leading the development and implementation of Marketing, Sales and Distribution strategies; contributing to the success of the organisation by ensuring that income from sales is in line with the targets articulated in the Business Plan. In addition, he/she is responsible for ensuring that market research is carried out, that an appropriate brand is developed and rolled out both internally and externally, and for ensuring that customer experience is consistent with the brand, across the value chain, for all customers.

Uganda Clays, a leading Ugandan manufacturer of baked clay building materials such as roofing and floor tiles, bricks, and pipes wishes to recruit a Head of Sales and Marketing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• • Minimum of a university degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering or Commerce with a Post-graduate qualification in Sales and Marketing, or any other related field from a recognised university
  • 10 years’ experience, 3 of which must have been at the level of a manager in a sales and marketing management function
  • Experience in implementing new and profitable growth strategies and launching new products.
