REPORTS TO: Logistics Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: People and Culture
DUTY STATION: Headquarters
Job Purpose:
To provide support in all the organization’s Transport and Logistics needs.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Transport executives, staff, mail, and company assets
- Keep the vehicle clean, ensure road worthiness of the vehicle, and conduct routine checkups
- Record mileage and keep record of all fuel refills
- Participate in tracking the logistics and Transport services section’s strategic plans
- Engage with different stakeholders in and out of the Fund to facilitate the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives
- Review own performance and seek feedback to improve performance.
- Submit service and repair requests, travel requests
- Observe the traffic and road safety guideline act
- Ensure the security and safety of Fund cars and accessories
- Account for allocated fuel
- Ensure logbooks are accurately filled in.
- Carryout service in the set mileage.
- Physical inspection of vehicles and ensure vehicles are in good mechanical condition.
- Follow up motor vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Establish liaisons with Fund motor vehicle maintenance providers and other public partners e.g. police, URA, Insurance.
- Carry field rescues and accident site salvage
- Gather accident-related information
- Any other responsibilities may be assigned by the line supervisor.
Education Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s license with class DM or D1
- O ’Level certificate with a pass in English and Mathematics
- Certificate of competence in driving skills from a recognized institution from the Ministry of Works and Transport.
- Certificate in defensive driving from a recognized institution by the Ministry of Works and Transport
Work Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in a busy corporate organization that has a branch network
