Reporting To: Principal Medical Officer
Job Purpose
Provide and maintain curative and preventive health care services in accordance with National Services Standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat and manage patients;
- Promote public health practices in the University Community;
- Participate in research activities and health data collection;
- Participate in continuous professional development;
- Refer patients for specialized care;
- Offer guidance and counselling services to patients;
- Supervise and appraise staff;
- Supervise the training of medical interns;
- Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery from a recognized institution;
- A valid practicing license (Evidence must be attached)
- Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in a reputable organization.
