Role Overview Summary

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will support the design and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation and research activities of the assigned Project. The role will include implementation of M&E Framework, performance monitoring, project reporting, research and evaluations to support the generation of a credible body of evidence from VSO work for learning, programme quality assurance and decision making. The M&E Coordinator will work closely with the MEAL Specialist in country in collaboration with the global M&E team to ensure the application of People First and evidence principles. Location – Karamoja & Southwestern region.

Ideal Applicant Summary

The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) with a background in education, statistics, or social sciences. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and analysis tools like SPSS or STATA is essential. Familiarity with mobile data collection tools (tablets, GPS, KOBO, ODK) is required, along with practical experience in developing and implementing M&E frameworks.
