Job DescriptionCoca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Process Artisan Electrical at the Namanve Plant in Kampala.

As a Process Artisan Electrical, you will report directly to the Team Leader, Packaging.

 

Key Purpose Statement 

The key purpose for this role is to maintain, repair, and optimize electrical systems and equipment within our production process, to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities• Operating the process area according to the work instructions and adhering to usage standards
• Carrying out the required quality checks as described in the quality control and analysis work practice
• Recording waste on the appropriate documentation or information systems, and reviewing waste trends to identify problems or opportunities timeously
• Constantly reviewing process performance against target, and completing all short interval control documentation
• Responding rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that result in stoppages
• Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 5S principles and following safe work practices
• Monitoring trends when conducting routine maintenance, where trends indicate the existence of underlying problems, corrective action must be Quality Control and Analyses taken
• Carry out in-depth cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machines according to the work instructions, and following the schedules supplied by the maintenance planner
• Carrying out routine maintenance activities according to the maintenance schedule
Skills, Experience & EducationQualifications
• Minimum requirement: Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other related field
• Added advantage: Computer and technical skills, Physical strength, auditory acuity; visual acuity

Experience
• 2 years of relevant technical experience in an FMCG environment
• Equipment functionality and packaging process in a process area
