Job Description

Job Summary: The position holder will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and securing research funding opportunities for MRCU. This position requires a strong understanding of research principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation.

Position’s expected Key Result Areas:

  • Identify and pursue potential funding sources.
  • Develop compelling research proposals.
  • Manage grant applications and reporting.
  • Build relationships with funders and partners.
  • Analyze grant application data.
Qualifications

Qualification & Experience:

  1. MBChB; BSN, B. Stat, or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
  2. MPH, MSc. Epidemiology, MMed; MSc in relevant field

Job related experience and knowledge:

  1. Proven experience in research development, grant writing.
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  3. Strong understanding of research principles and methodologies.
  4. Proficiency in using relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, grant management databases).
