Fido Uganda is hiring a Social & Creative Specialist to manage Fido’s social media presence in Uganda, shooting, and crafting engaging content that drives brand awareness and community engagement. This role requires a creative thinker who can develop innovative campaigns that resonate with Fido’s target audience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Fido’s social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and posting.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to grow followers, increase engagement, and drive traffic to Fido’s platforms.
- Collaborate with influencers and community leaders to create authentic and engaging content.
- Monitor social media trends, conversations, and customer sentiment to inform strategy.
- Design and execute contests, challenges, and interactive campaigns to build an active online community.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on platform changes and implement best practices to optimize content delivery.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Creative skills in content creation (graphic design, short videos, captions).
- Strong knowledge of platforms like Capcut, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
- Excellent storytelling and community-building abilities.
