JOB OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about renewable energy and thrive in technical sales? Join Chloride Exide (U) Ltd as we expand our solar footprint across the region. The job holder is expected to work broadly and collaboratively to achieve Solar sales growth across the country through prospecting, identification and understanding of customer requirements, designing and providing the right solutions, relationship building and retention; ensuring expansion of renewable energy and creating sustainable market presence of our solar PV Systems.

 Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and sell solar energy solutions to potential clients 
  2. Drive lead generation, client consultations & solution design
  3. Conduct site visits, negotiate deals and prepare technical and financial proposals.
  4. Build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage post-installation follow-up
  5. Support marketing campaigns and contribute to lead generation strategies.
  6. Work closely with the technical and execution teams to ensure project alignment.
  7. Achieve sales targets and report performance metrics regularly.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS.

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering, or related field
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in solar sales/ solutions (solar panels, batteries, and inverters). 
  3. Proven ability to meet or exceed monthly sales targets (Ushs. 60.0M per month)
  4. Strong technical understanding and communication skills.
  5. Thorough knowledge of PV System, SWH and PBS products/systems and all our product range.
