Job Description
Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, technically experienced, and competent persons, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (30) years leading steel manufacture
- Carrying welding/ fabrication jobs of the plant.
- Carrying out quality inspections on all equipment.
- controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
- Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts.
- Finding and fixing faults and recalibrating instruments.
- Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns round the clock.
- Willing to work in Shifts & able to Handle both production & Maintenance activities.
- Ensure free flow of Communication between all departments of Factory.
- Maintain all maintenance records.
- Ensure that all identified aspects related to your area of work that have a negative impact on the environment in the context of RL’s EMS are properly managed and controlled.
- Ensure good housekeeping and clean work environment at all times.
- Ensure mandatory PPEs are used while at the workplace.
- Identify any hazards that are likely to occur in the course of work and report to the immediate supervisor in the context of RL’s OHS system.
- Any other duty as may be assigned.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Certificate in fabrication and/ or mechanics.
- Experience in different welding/fabrication processes.
